US President Donald Trump on Sunday told a group of mostly American-bo

上海龙凤1314品茶微信”So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose govern

States… how our government is to be run,” Trump said in a series of three comments on Twitter.上海龙凤1314品茶微信

While he did not mention names, Trump appeared to be referring to first-y

has been very critical of Trump and also of the current Democratic leadership of the House.

Only Omar, whose family left Somalia as refugees and arrived in Minneapolis in 1997, was born outside the United States.上海龙凤1314品茶微信

上海龙凤1314″Let’s be clear about what this vile comment is: A racist and xenophobic attack on De

Another 2020 contender, former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, tweeted at the president: “This is racist. These congre上海龙凤1314品茶微信

Regulator warns four cities to keep property pricescheck

hina’s housing r上海龙凤1314品茶微信egulator has warned four Chine

se cities over price rises in the past three months, the Economic Observer reported.

Local governments of Foshan, Suzhou, Dalian and Nanning were urged by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Dev

elopment to stabilize land and housing prices as well as market expectations.

This came a month after six other cities were also warned over similar reasons on April 19.

Zhang Dawei, chief analyst with Centaline Property, said the main reason behind this is the real estate market in some

cities is at risk of going out of control, and the land market shows signs of overheating.

China’s house prices continued to stabilize despite slight increases

in April, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Sixty-seven out of the 70 major Chine

se cities saw an increase in the number of newly built homes that were sold in April.

Despite headwinds from the trade tensions, global investors

s are still optimistic about China’s economic prospects, said Z

hang Zhiwei, Deutsche Bank’s chief China economist and head of China equity strategy.

Foreign investors believe that China has enough policy tools to offset short-term downside pressure, while th

e financial risks are under control as the country’s debt level has shown signs of stabilizing, Zhang said.

China’s overall debt-to-GDP ratio had dropped to 249.4 percent by the

end of 2018, 1.5 percentage points lower than a year earlier, according to the PBOC.

If trade tensions escalate further, more opening-up policies in the sectors of medical care

and education will help boost global investors’ confidence in the Chinese economy, Zhang added.

Stephen Roach, a faculty member at Yale University and former chairman of Morgan

Stanley Asia, said the US government “blamed others for economic problems that are very much of its own making”.

There are plenty of realistic options for resolution between the two co

untries, Roach said in a recent article contributed to Beijing-based think tank China Watch. For

instance, he suggested, the US and China should take the lead in forging a global cyber accord.

“While additional tariffs from both US and China

will weigh on China’s growth outlook, we expect policy measures to offset so

me of the negative impacts,” said Tommy Wu, a senior economist at Oxford Economics, a British think tank.

As for China, the significant deviation in the US’ stanc

es and objectives in the trade talks should be a warning for it to more strictly stick to its principles. And t

he fact that the US wants to challenge the laws of economics should not be reason for China to try to do the same.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said his go

unexpectedly looks set to retain office, saying the victory was for the “quiet Australians” who supported him.

“I have always believed in miracles!” Morrison told an e

The coalition government is in position to remain in power with mor

e than half the votes counted on Saturday, though it is uncl

ear whether it can govern with an outright majority and final results may not be known this weekend.

I think the Belt and Road Initiative is very good . Five

pillars of the initiative are important. The most and best (part) of it, I think, is connectiv

ity and inter-culture exchange, sustainable development agenda, and knowledge transfer.

China is the biggest market in the world. We have enough resources in our country. We want our p

roduct get access to the market and we also want to live in good infrastructure, such as roads, railw

ays, schools, hospitals. I also hope knowledge of China come to our country. We have sea access, and good infra

structure can help our country and neighboring countries get access to the Maritime Silk Road.

China has become the second-largest investor of our count

ry in the past 10 years. It’s investing infrastructure, mining

and agriculture. We have Confucius Institute, facilitate Chinese and Portuguese learning. The Belt and Road

Initiative helps Mozambique boost its industrialization, technology and finance.

When more countries that are mainstream travel desti

Industry insiders said that the rapid development of internet technology in C

hina and people’s heavy use of online shopping, mobile payment and banking servic

“Such services, which save the time and trouble of sending passpo

Objectivity and impartiality were emphasized in the latest draft revisions to the Judge

s Law and the Procurators Law submitted to China’s top legislature for review on Saturday.

According to the drafts, judges should adjudicate based on facts and t

he law, guided by objectivity and impartiality. Procurators should do the same.

Procurators must strictly ensure that crimes are punished only under the law, and protect hum

an rights. They must prosecute criminals while protecting the innocent from criminal prosecution, the draft revisions say.

China’s forex reserves continue to grow in March

China’s foreign exchange reserves rose to $3.0988 trillion by the end of March, official data showed Sunday.

The amount increased by $8.6 billion, or 0.3 percent from the end of February, according to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

China’s peer-to-peer (P2P) lending industry will continue to shrink and cons

olidate due to tighter regulation and weak investor sentiment, Fitch Ratings said in a report.

The number of P2P investors and platforms declined steeply last year after regulators tightened supervision, and Fitch exp

ect more platforms to close or consolidate this year as reforms continue to take effect, leading to a smaller, less fragmented market.

Stronger regulation of P2P companies will be positive over the lo

nger term for a sector that has yet to be tested through economic cycles, the report said.

New regulations will also require many platforms to reduce their

reliance on retail investors, leading to a shift toward wholesale or institutional funding sources.

Lenders with more robust business models, established risk-management capabil

ities and more stable access to funding are likely to gain market share, according to Fitch.

hina to establish first Great Wall restoration center surrounded

BEIJING – China’s first Great Wall restoration center will be established in Beijing, combining academic research, restoration and protection of the ancient wall.

The center will have archaeologists, designers and craftspersons w

orking together to make targeted plans for the restoration of the Jiankou section of the Gr

eat Wall, which is located in the northern Huairou District of Beijing, according to Beijing Daily.

“The new method will effectively tackle unpredictability in excavation and protection

of the Great Wall,” Zhang Tong, an official at the cultural relics administration of Huairou, was quoted as saying.

The center will also regularly check the conditions of the Great Wall for preventive c

onservation. It will keep records of the restoration for future use, the newspaper said.

With a total length of 7,952 meters, the Jiankou Great Wall was built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It was once neglected and became damaged over time.

Of the other three people apprehended, two were arrested in

possession of firearms and police are still trying to understand their involvement, said New Zealand Police Com
